Estoy teniendo algunos problemas con modificar el tamaño de la punta (x,y) de qTip. Intenté agregar el style: { tip: { x:2,y:2 } } de todas las maneras posibles, pero fallé.

¿Cómo puedo agregarlo al siguiente script?

Para qtip 2, simplemente puedes establecer las propiedades width y height del objeto tip:

$("#mytip").qtip({
    style: {
        tip: {
            width: 10,
            height: 10
        }
    }
});
